Today we celebrate Aboriginal sunday, and continue our Summer Psalms series. Pastor Nic preaches from Psalm 46 which includes the famous "Be still and know that I am God" verse. This is often seen as a call to contemplation, but the context has some surprising implications for it's meaning.
Pastor Nic also shares with us the story of a colonial era missionary named Threlkeld. His advocacy/justice work with first nations people along with his linguistic achivements and friendship with colleage Biraban is inspiring on so many levels!
